Travel to Pelham Summerfest in Style: Walk, Bike, or Take the Shuttle

Walk, bike or shuttle your way to this year’s Pelham Summerfest! 

With over 40,000 visitors expected at Pelham Summerfest this summer, visitors are encouraged to use alternate transportation options, other than driving, to get to the festival on time for their favourite activities and performances.

Attendees are encouraged to use the bike valet service, where bike riders can leave their bikes during their visit with a volunteer or take one of the free shuttle services available.

On Thursday, a direct shuttle will take attendees from the Meridian Community Centre directly to Peace Park from 4:00 - 9:30 p.m.

On Friday from 3:30 p.m. to midnight and on Saturday from 1 p.m. to midnight, Pelham Summerfest attendees will have their pick of the in-town shuttle or an extended shuttle route.

The Meridian Community Centre, at 100 Meridian Way will offer free event parking all weekend and overnight parking is also offered free beginning July 18th until July 21. 

The in-town shuttle will travel on a continuous loop, stopping at the following locations:

  • Meridian Community Centre – 100 Meridian Way
  • Pelham Summerfest 1401 Pelham Street
  • Community of Lookout Ridge – 1505 Lookout St
  • Duliban Insurance Brokers - 165 Hwy 20 
  • Fonthill United Church – 42 Church Hill 
  • Pelham Summerfest 1401 Pelham Street 

The extended shuttle route will operate as a 45-minute continuous loop, stopping at the following locations:

  • Fenwick Municipal Parking Lot - 781 Canboro Road 
  • Old Pelham Town Hall - 491 Canboro Road 
  • Ridgeville Pumping Station - 294 Canboro Road 
  • Avondale at the Corner of Canboro and Haist
  • Pelham Summerfest 1401 Pelham Street 

“The two shuttle services will provide visitors with a direct link to Pelham Summerfest without having to worry about finding a parking spot nearby,” explained Communications Specialist Leah Letford. “We highly encourage residents and guests to utilize the shuttle services to help make the most of their Pelham Summerfest experience.”

Guests can also utilize taxi services or NRT OnDemand which can be booked by calling 1-833-678-5463 to get to and from Pelham Summerfest safely during the four-day event.

For those who choose to drive, special event parking is permitted at:

  • Pelham Town Square, Station Street & surrounding streets
  • St. Alexander’s Church: Saturday, July 20 after 6:00 pm and Sunday, July 21 after 12:00 pm
  • St. Alexander’s School
  • Meridian Community Centre (100 Meridian Way) 

Visitors to Pelham Summerfest are asked to be considerate of local businesses that remain open during this event and to avoid parking in business parking lots.
