Sunday is Cars, Capes and Classics Blues at Pelham Summerfest

Rev up your engines and take a drive to Peace Park for the Pelham Summerfest Car Show, taking place on the final day of Pelham Summerfest, Sunday, July 21.

This event, hosted in partnership with Storm the Falls, caps off four free days of family fun with a diverse range of activities. From a showcase of cars from across the Niagara Region, to family-friendly activities in the kids zone, and live blues music, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Beginning at 9 a.m. classic, custom, and exotic cars can register for the car show on-site for $10 per car. Car enthusiasts will want to stay parked until 2:30 p.m., when standout cars will be recognized from thirty different categories in the awards show thanks to the support from local sponsors Duliban Insurance Brokers, Intact Insurance and McAvoy, Belan & Campbell Insurance Ltd.

“Pelham Summerfest prides itself on being able to create a four-day event that includes the popular car show that attracts over 100 vehicles each year,” said Festivals and Events Coordinator Lauren Phillips. “Sunday in Peace Park is a perfect way to wrap up the final day of the festival, especially with this year's car show running with the expanded Kids Zone.”

Families can visit the Kids Zone on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., where mini golf, inflatables, and presentations from Reptile Kingdom and Magician Scoop McCoy are offered throughout the day. Plus, bring out the capes to enjoy the second day of Superhero training for the youngest festival-goers from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

Jimmy’s Juke Joint will provide live blues music from the Bandshell stage, with performances by host Jim Casson and special guests Steve Grisbrook, Rich Moore, Joel Parisien, Paige Armstrong, Johnny Max and Ron Hoover.

Pelham Summerfest has been financially assisted by the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund a program of the Government of Ontario through the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, administered by the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund Corporation.
