Pelham Summerfest Welcomes Help From Volunteers
With an event the size of Pelham Summerfest, volunteers are a key part of its success. This year, Pelham Summerfest volunteers will be part of a team supported by the volunteer sponsor, a new business to the area, Sleep Comfort.
“I feel like I have to be part of Pelham Summerfest’s volunteering program because I have been welcomed to the community,” said volunteer program sponsor Nver Keosseian.
While many people have already registered to help, the Town is still accepting volunteer applications for the following positions, including several that are new this year:
- Bar Back
- Bike Valet Ambassador
- Bouncer Attendant
- Bouncer Lead
- Mini Golf Attendant
- Pelham Street Games Attendant
- Server
- Stage Hand
- Summerfest Ambassador
- Wrist Banding Attendant
“Every single volunteer makes a difference at an event like Pelham Summerfest,” said Director of Recreation, Culture and Wellness Vickie vanRavenswaay. “Whether they attend for one afternoon as a bike valet or for multiple days as a Pelham Summerfest ambassador, volunteers help make this event happen for the thousands of residents who enjoy this annual event.”
In 2023, over 150 people in the volunteer program made the event possible through their hard work and countless hours of dedication.
